'From the more meaningful, to the mundane and the downright quirky, "Alexa's Most Asked Questions" provides another fascinating snapshot of how customers in the UK use Alexa to learn, get help with tasks or ask for some quickfire entertainment,' said Meryem Tom, Alexa UK & Ireland Country Manager.

Amazon breaks the top requests down by category, including Sport, Height, Age, Recipes, and even Farts.

In terms of Sports requests, 'Alexa, what's the score?' topped the list, followed by 'Alexa, what's the Liverpool score?', 'Alexa, who won the World Cup?' and 'Alexa, what's the Man Utd score?'

Lionel Messi's height was the most questioned, followed by Erling Haaland, Tyson Fury, Tom Cruise, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

When it came to ages, Britons were most interested to find out how old Elton John is, while King Charles, Angela Rippon, and Lionel Richie's ages were also of interest.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, billionaire Elon Musk was the person whose net worth piqued the highest interest, while nosy Britons also enquired about Paul McCartney, Prince Harry and Bill Gates' net worths.

In the top spouses list, 'Alexa, who is Jennifer Lopez married to?' was the top search, followed by 'Alexa, who is Taylor Swift married to?', and 'Alexa, who is Gordon Ramsay married to?'

Venturing more into the weird and wonderful requests, Amazon says the top 'Surprise Alexa Interactions' were 'Alexa, insult me', 'Alexa, say a rude word', and 'Alexa, do you like me?'

Our love of good old fashioned bathroom humour also seems to be thriving, with an entire 'Fart' category included by Amazon.
